Natalie Reid Selling Art Exhibit Opening
Join us on Friday, August 9th at 6 PM as we open the art exhibition of local artist Natalie Reid Selling! Her exhibit will be up all month and available for viewing during regular business hours if you are not able to attend.






Hailey Morris Exhibit Opening
Our local artist to display for June will be Hailey Morris! Come check out her exhibit opening on June 14th at 6 PM.


Jared Dennis Book Signing
Jared Dennis, author of Our Peace: The Black History of Snyder, Texas 1914-1966, will be a guest speaker and sign copies of his book. The book will be available for purchase. This is a free event for the public.

WTC Reception
The WTC Art Department will be having a reception to explore their collection on April 26th at 5:30 PM.


Dennis Stewart
Local serial killer, you say? If you like a good murder mystery, you will love this! Author Dennis Stewart has been researching here at Scurry County Museum on Alan Lee Phillips, a suspected serial killer who grew up right here in Snyder, TX. You can hear him speak on the book he is writing, "Rescue of Evil," here at SCM on March 25th at 6 PM.

DAN WALLACE OPENING NIGHT
Local artist Dan Wallace will be opening his art exhibit at 6 PM on March 1st. We will also be accepting donations for the family of Lyla Gunderson, who is currently battling childhood cancer.

Welcome Back Westerners 2022
Our wonderful community has the opportunity to create a warm welcome for the WTC students on August 9th! Scurry County Museum is hosting a back-to-campus event for the students to get to know what Snyder has to offer!
The event will be from 6-8 pm on August 9th. We would love for you to be there. We will be having pizza, bounce houses, and tons of information and gifts from Scurry County businesses.
